My name is Beth. I love to be in the kitchen and I love deadly desserts. So, I am teaching myself to bake. This blog is a journal of my attempted creations, the inspiration behind them and the people I make them for.

My brilliant husband came up with my nickname, duffie, which I adore. I have brought it along here because it is playful, sweet and a little silly…. a bit like some of the sweet somethings I am learning to make.

I spend my days volunteering, gardening, baking, and riding my cruiser with my darling bloodhound, Mila.

Sara just sent the site to me and must say that I am definitely becoming a follower. What blog did I first get to read was none other than about chocolate and cake. What a beautiful cake that you created for Jared! Way to go baking diva! I will be looking back on all of your greatness.
